Its hard to hit and its not at all a guaranteed kill. Obliviously this is the first part of getting a kill. So the short and simple steps to follow are: It one of the most difficult parts of the game for new players and it confuses a lot of people, Sips being a great example when he first played the game. This is the most important part of this short guide. The penetration is more important than expansion i have found. The one recommendation i have is going away from soft-point bullets. Where you hit is far more important and good hits can down moose and bison. It isn't the best rifle for bigger game like Black bears and Elks, but it can do the job just fine as Ross showed, especially if you move away from soft-point bullets.
